Chris Jacobsen
Chris Jacobsen is a Senior Physicist at Argonne National Laboratory, and a Professor in Physics and Astronomy and the Chemistry of Life Processes at Northwestern University. His research group is interested in the development of x-ray microscopy methods (on which he is co-authoring a book), and their application to biological and environmental science questions. He is the recipient of a Presidential Faculty Fellow Award (White House/National Science Foundation), the International Denis Gabor Award, and the Kurt Heinrich award from the Microbeam Analysis Society. He is a fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the American Physical Society, and the Optical Society of America.
