Asheque Mahbub
Asheque al Mahbub graduated with first class honours in Civil Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in 2000. He completed a Master in Civil Engineering from National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2004. Before commencing his PhD in June 2014 at Monash University, he has worked in academia and industry for more than 10 years. Asheque’s current research project deals with micro-mechanical behaviour of artificially cemented soils using 3D Xray CT imaging. His PhD project has been supervisied by Drs. Haque and Bui of Monash university and Prof. Muhunthan of Washington State University, USA.
