Steve Lee

Steve Lee is a Group leader/Lecturer in biomedical optics at Research School of Engineering, Australian National University. He completed his undergraduate training in Engineering at the Nanyang Technological University and a PhD in Optics at Uni of St Andrews with Prof. Kishan Dholakia. In his postdoctoral training at Wellman Photomedicine & Harvard Medical School, he developed novel in-vivo multiphoton endomicroscopy. Since 2013, he started his own research group at ANU that focus on developing the next generation of intravital/in-vivo microscopy systems. He is the co-recipent, with Dr Tri Phan, of 2014 ANSTO-Eureka Prize for Innovative Technology for the invention of the droplet lenses and also an Associated Investigator at ARC Centre of Excellence for Advanced Molecular Imaging.
