Anita M D'Angelo 24th Australian Conference on Microscopy and Microanalysis 2016

Anita M D'Angelo

Anita received her Bachelor of Science (Chemistry) at Curtin University, Western Australia in 2005. After working as a chemist for the Western Australian government laboratories, she then moved to Melbourne in 2012. Her PhD thesis has recently been submitted and focused on the development of oxygen selective sorbents for air separation applications under the supervision of Professor Alan Chaffee and Professor Paul Webley at Monash University. Her current research interests are in the structure-property relationships of solids and its application in the development of advanced functional materials. This includes interests in the tailoring of properties via defect engineering and analysis using core-level spectroscopy, electron microscopy, XRD and neutron diffraction techniques.
